James Fortier is a long-time supporter of Indian Canyon. He is Métis-Ojibway and has been making films about Native Americans for years. "Gathering Together" is a recent work and another of his films is "Alcatraz Is Not An Island" which has shown on PBS and at many other venues and festivals.
